This page explains how users of the USCG Prep application (developed and operated by USCG Prep, the “Company”) can request deletion of their account and the personal data associated with it.

1. Delete your account in the app

The fastest way to delete your account and data:

Open the USCG Prep app and sign in.
Go to the Profile tab.
Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your account and all of its associated data are deleted immediately. This action cannot be undone.

2. Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to the app, email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject “Account Deletion Request.” We verify ownership of the account and delete your account and its associated data.

3. What gets deleted

Account information (name, email address, credentials)
Study progress, quiz history, bookmarks and hidden items
AI tutor chat history
App preferences and usage records tied to your account

4. What may be retained

Purchase and subscription transaction records held by Google Play or the Apple App Store are governed by those platforms’ own policies and are managed through your store account. We may retain a limited set of records where required to comply with legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations; such records are not used for any other purpose.
